Michael J Robinsmith is a Red Seal electrician, working in the construction industry since 1987. During the 2008 downturn Michael started working at Mircom where he was a Verification technician for two years before becoming the Service Supervisor for four years.
Leaving Mircom, Michael started Dragon Fire & Electrical which became Drago
Michael J Robinsmith is a Red Seal electrician, working in the construction industry since 1987. During the 2008 downturn Michael started working at Mircom where he was a Verification technician for two years before becoming the Service Supervisor for four years.
Leaving Mircom, Michael started Dragon Fire & Electrical which became Dragon Fire Electrical Group Ltd. Focusing on fire alarm installations, and fire alarm testing and maintenance for two years.
He then joined Pacific Coast Fire Equipment Ltd as manager of the Coquitlam branch for a year.
In 2018 he began work at BCIT as a full-time Electrical Foundations instructor. Michael started his BCIT career in 2017 as a part-time instructor for the School of Energy teaching the Fire alarm, Emergency Lighting, Fire Sprinklers, Electrical for Fire Alarm, and Smoke Control courses. Michael has also update most of the course material for these courses under contract as well as for Fire Safety Planning and Fire Extinguishers courses.
